I am a graduate of The Hussian School of Art, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, majoring in Advertising Design. While graphic design is at the core of my training and work experience, I also take joy in creating non-representational mixed media collages. You will notice that my background as a graphic designer is reflected in my images.

My artwork is exhibited in juried, invitational and solo shows. I am an award winning artist whose work can be found in numerous collections.

Exploring the possibilities of what someone else considers trash and turning it into a reclaimed treasure, is a passion of mine. If you look closely at my work you may just find something recognizable.

Recycled materials and objects are the catalysts for my mixed media collages. I often refer to my artwork as constructions; building layers of colors and patterns, adapting the familiar in unfamiliar ways, to create playful and poetic statements.

Patterns that are created by the interplay of textures and color combinations, as they are evident all around me, are the greatest strength of my inspiration.

I incorporate into my designs, my handmade paper which I make from paper that I salvage from the trash. I may also employ my handmade ceramic trinkets and portions of my painted handmade paper and canvases.
